Hi,

Saw your car pic. The first word that came out from my mouth is "WOW", it's nice.

I'd like to ask you the following questions:

1. where & how much did you pay for the front bodykit and fog light?

2. how much did you pay for the sport rim?

What are the products you use to maintain the car shine.Sorry to trouble you as I'm not good at polishing and all this stuff. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

tks for your compliments...

as my ride is an airtrek facelift, those shown in the pics are all stock (yes, including the OZ titan rims)... I was offered a good package by C&C Fulco earlier in April.... Are u owner of an airtrek also, color??? If you are keen on the accessories, I can help check for you.

As for maintaining car shine, it depends are u a DIY owner or would you prefer the professional groomers to maintain it for you.

For professional groomers, you can consider cazcomp or groomworks who are using different brands of products such as autoglym, zaino or glare. Visit their website or do a search in MCF's detailing folder.

I DIY my own ride and for a good shine, to be frank, u simply need to be more onz than a regular weekly wash. Usually, I will wipe my ride on alternate days (before work) with a quick detailer (meguiars or mother brand), just spray & wipe off dust with a good buffing or detailing cotton cloth. Mid week if got time when reach home, I'll rinse my ride with water & wipe dry.

I leave waxing till weekends. I use the following products:

- shampoo, blue coral (PH balanced, will not streak or strip wax), after shampoo, I'll do a quick detailer to eliminate any remaining water spots before applying wax

- polish/sealant: mothers brand glaze & sealant or autoglym SRP/ERP

- I used to layer another layer of natural carnauba wax but later found out it will streak on my bonnet under high temp.

Now, am using glare treatment for polish & sealant.

If you got time, join the guys for W&W session and we can discuss more. Browse through the detailer folder and you can find many useful tips by other forumers on other products as well (e.g. klasse, hi-glaze etc...) , what to do and what not to during washing & waxing etc...

My babe is a black Matrix.Dunno if the accessories will look nice on Matrix.

Hi,

think for matrix, there is a thread on it recently. Meguiars should be more available in DIY stores, and onli some kiosks. Mother's brand is difficult to locate. If urs is a black ride, than mother's brand will be better. wink.gif
