Hi Sapience

I saw this wheel at Stamford, the branch near Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim. I think that is the main branch. (Was at the shop about 2-3 weeks back)

Really beautiful wheels!! [thumbsup][thumbsup]

I almost bought this exact rims. [nod]

However, the salesman at Stamford Tyre in Jurong was prompt enough to advise me that these rims are too heavy for my Mazda 323 "TarzanBoy" , even the 15 inch ones. [shakehead]

Thus I decided not to proceed ....... [thumbsup]

That's good of the salesman to advise you. Mostly meant for European cars....or momo fanatics like myself. I chucked a set of 16 inch momos on my corolla....kekeke [crazy]

Your fuel consumption must be heavy , not to mention you would probably lose lots of acceleration. [shocked]

Am I correct ?? [blush]

Yeah, I was quite suprised that he told me not to as these rims are not by any means cheap. I had my eye on them quite favourably till the advice. Need more salesman like these [nod][thumbsup]

Yes, an honest opinion from a salesman indeed.

However, I did not experience much of a fuel consumption increase with the momos on the car. Minimal I would say. I used to be getting around 11 km/l but now its about 10km/l. I'm quite surprised, but at the same time relieved...

But this could also be due to the fact that I have installed K&N, Capsule, grounding and HVS as well...keke

Acceleration-wise, the capsule has helped quite a bit, especially increasing the torque in the mid to high end. I'm now waiting to see whether or not to fit Airmax2 to take care of the low end torque.
