Emperor Clutched May 7, 2011 Share May 7, 2011 I got my love letter for travelling too fast on Adams road... $150 + 6 points Here's a thought:- high volume of traffic area, low speed limit, send an enforcer to make sure the limit is enforced, and force all cars there to slow down... Remember my first point? High volume of traffic area? I'm just waiting for them to say "lets put ERP there to ease congestion...." We drive fast to get out of the cluster of traffic.... the closer people drive together, the higher the chance of hitting someone..... neverending story... Shor 1st Gear May 9, 2011 Share May 9, 2011 My point of view, no point driving fast in Singapore. Look at the laws, once kenna....that's it. Do it in Malaysia highway if you wanna test out your car. The most is to pay some Ringgits once they catch you speeding. I have a friend driving GTR hits 280km/h in CTE past midnight....he will be doing it in Malaysia for 300km/h..............too risky!!! IMHO

IMHO I hear you... true on no point driving fast... but we should not be driving slow either!!! Road hogging or blocking traffic just pisses people off.... Lately I found drivers driving fast thinking that they will overtake you, only to drive alongside you to block you!!! WTH? Still, we should just keep to the speed limit and give way to others, EVERYONE will definitely enjoy the drive to work everyday! Bicolor 5th Gear June 2, 2011 Share June 2, 2011 Does anyknow whether the viaduct behind kaki bukit, http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel.../travel_site_1/ have any cameras? Down there is a speed heaven.. No cameras on this Kaki Bukit Viaduct and the connected Bartley Road Flyover. But occasionally they do speed checks. If worried about being caught, best to play safe.
