Here's one, 14 August 2004, about 2.30am at kau chap kau wan, toyota starlet tailgating a black civic at high speed corner, civic's VTEC was roaring at high rpm, the starlet was just following bumper to bumper. Was anyone there as well??? The civic was understeering like mad! You should have seen the scenario!!! Like something out of Initial D.

Anyone heard of the 50 cents story?

 

OK, here's one...

 

Once one friend offered to whom that can pick up a 50 cents coin on his car dashboard when he sprint his 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear...

 

Believe it or not? No one manage to pick it up...

like one time going to work early moring in SLE,extreme right lane,i was following behind a old honda accord.

Guess what

 

 

he lose control of his car,steel left to 2nd land and bang a pick up, the pick up push to first lane and bang a motorcyist....

the poor chap just fly and land fainted

 

for me ,i just stop behind his car,when i wake up, i wonder how did i stop behind his car....

i was along ECP lane 2 the other day and this uncle in BMW bike came up really fast from my behind.

 

No, he is not TP.

 

Anyhow, i saw him coming real fast and thought "what the hack, you 2 wheeler sure fly if we collide!" so i drove along normally and that uncle also kept a safe distance behind me.

 

we finally parted when he made a left exit off bedok.

 

we both arrived safely at our respective destination and had a pleasent journey.

 

end of story...

Ugh... This kinda stuff you call story?

 

Let me tell you a REAL story.

 

Today I went to work. On my way, a car driven by a rather young Ah Beng cut into my lane in a sudden without signal. Had I not slammed on my brakes, there would have been an accident. I can't say the same for the poor folks behind me in the jam though.

 

I drove beside the Ah Beng, wound down my passenger side window, flashed him a big smile, gave him the finger, and told him outright how I felt about the legitimacy of the surname he's using and the relationship of his mother with other men.

 

I tried to drive my car as inhumanly close to his as possible in the jam, and I cheerfully hinted that perhaps I was quite game for some bumper cars in this boring traffic.

 

As with all lessons learnt about good human-human communication skills, my steady and sincere eye contact with his was wasted as he quickly looked away, suggesting that he was not keen to play bumper cars with me. I was quite disappointed...

 

Well, it's okay. At least I got a chance to prove that there is still courtesy, on the road since I gave way to some vehicles waiting to turn in the junction in front of me. Perhaps next time I meet him again, I'll invite him to play bumper cars with me again.

 

I am your nice friendly kinda road-buddy, y'know?

 

Rest of the day was uneventful.

last night for me also,

this camry decide that he own the stretch of road on CTE,cut into my lane without signaling.

i just high beam indiating i m behind.....

i make eye contact with him through his rear mirrir view,smile at him....

driving closer up to him to take agood look at him....

 

10 min later,he decide he dun own the road anymore,still without signal,cut into 2nd lane,poor chap behind him jam brake....

 

i also dun understand why singapore drivers like to cluster fark when they drive
