Ravinged 5th Gear November 7, 2003 Share November 7, 2003 Hi folks, Had an attempt that went very wrong. Tried to do a 3-pt U-turn and had stopped before the curb. Just when I was about to reverse back, a lorry came up close from behind. No doubt I had my reverse lights on, the lorry apparently stayed there and refused to reverse and give me some room. My mistake would be to attempt to swing it back totally but hit the curb instead. 1) How much does it cost for me to replace my frontlip (with paintwork) and probably fixed up the bumper? 2) If I decide to change the whole bumper and a new frontlip (with paintwork) ... how much would it cost then? What if I am changin my frontlip to be fixed to my bumper which needs to be fixed up? 4) Maybe I should take some pictures and post it up here? Thanks... Azrielsc 1st Gear November 9, 2003 Share November 9, 2003 Err.... maybe your front lip is a piece that is bolted/taped to your bumper and when u hit the curb, your front lip was scratched and the impact caused your bumper to move out of alignment, or caused it to pop out of its retention brackets? This kind of person if i'm in your shoes, i'll STOP/HALT there and not move as the space is constrain. I'll not take the risk to shift if the space is soooooo damn small and that lorry is blocking it. Let's have the waiting game and see who can wait longer. Sharks that lorry man....
