Jetcool 1st Gear December 11, 2003 Share December 11, 2003 I'm thinking of getting my car polished by Zaino to save some time. I have a set of the Klasse kit I bought from the recent MO, can I still apply the Klasse AIO and sealant glaze after the Zaino treatment ? Thks very much. ↡ Advertisement
Jetcool 1st Gear December 12, 2003 Author Share December 12, 2003 Anyone can offer any advice whether it's Ok to do Klasse after Zaino? I need to sign up for the Zaino offer by 2359 hours today over at TCS forum! Thks very much.
Karsoon Neutral Newbie December 12, 2003 Share December 12, 2003 My suggestion to you is dont mix both wax together. If you are ready for zaino, do a full removal of your previous wax and claybar before you apply any zaino 1,2 or 5 on it. You can sell off your Klasse kit to someone else but keep zaino products by itself. I had mix autoglym with zaino before. Regreted it. Kit wash and wax can work well with zaino. Turtlewax, no no no with zaino. But have not tried Klasse with zaino.
Jetcool 1st Gear December 12, 2003 Author Share December 12, 2003 Thks for yr advice. Mine is a 2 month old car that has not been treated to any polish/wax, just cleaned regularly with car shampoo. Since I dun have much free time ahead, guess I'll most likely Zaino it and sell the Klasse set. Actually would prefer to have the joy of personally giving my ride some "Klasse"! Turbobrick Neutral Newbie December 12, 2003 Share December 12, 2003 Klasse and Zaino are both polymer based cleaner/sealants so mixing them won't do any harm but won't gain any more protection or depth of shine either. I suggest just stick with one, no point spending extra $$ for the same results.
Assassin Clutched December 12, 2003 Share December 12, 2003 Hi Jetcool, Like what Turbobrick mentioned, it should not be an issue with using both Klasse and Zaino as they are both polymer based. You can either use both products or just stick to one...whicever is more convenient for you. Zaino can be purchased from www.cazcomp.com online. Fourth 2nd Gear August 13, 2005 Share August 13, 2005 Sorry if this question sounds stupid.... I am on autogylm now but would like to swith to Zaino. Someone told me it is not a problem, but the thread seems to indicate otherwise. It is something I can do easily? What do I need to do to make sure nothing goes wrong? Valjean Neutral Newbie August 13, 2005 Share August 13, 2005 Switching is never a problem for any products. Just strip the existing layer of X wax and apply Y wax. If you want to mix the products, then you'll need some care to make sure they're compatible.

I have a set of the Klasse kit I bought from the recent MO, can I still apply the Klasse AIO and sealant glaze after the Zaino treatment ? Thks very much. Jetcool, Seems you haven't go for the Zaino treatment at this moment. Since u got your Klasse twin, why not use their Klasse Mobile service to do the first treatment of your ride. At the time they doing you ride, you are free to ask them the way to maintain your ride by using Klasse twin. I believe they are more than happy to assist you. If u go for Zaino treatment, after that u still can use Klasse to maintain the shine. Important is only using the sealant and no more AIO. Otherwise, AIO will take off all the Zaino treatment and u just waste your money. After say 4-5 months and u feel the car body is a bit rough then u may start the whole procedure again. Wash, claying, AIO & Sealant or go back to Zaino or Klasse mobile. Just my 2 cents. MarcosTan Toyota Rav4

Assassin Clutched August 14, 2005 Share August 14, 2005 Your question has been answered by one of the members. Yes, it can be done. Autoglymn SRP or Klasse AIO will take off the previous product.
