Tyre rotation

Well, side to side rotation is such a simple job that some ppl may not want to bring it to the tyre shop to do. Just like some ppl may prefer to change a flat themselves rather than appearing to be helpless and call AAS!

Agree that it is a simple task. But I feel it is important to balance each wheel as you rotate. Since balancing will involve taking the wheels off the car, might as well kill rotate at the same time.

Of course if you need to balance, then there's no way but to go to the tyre shop.

OK, if all your 5 wheels are the same non-directional (clue: there's no arrow with the word 'rotation' printed on the sidewall), you can rotate whichever way you want without removing the tyre from the rims.
