Mel4fun Neutral Newbie December 25, 2003 Share December 25, 2003 Hi Folks, Been driving around lately and found that SG roads has seems to deteriorate over the last 10 few years. There are full of pot holes, man-holes in the middle of the road. There's alot of uneven roads (undulation) along some major E-ways. One disturbing problem is that LTA doesn't seem to have any code for designing the drainage man-hole for their roads. They are not aligned to a side of the road and the opening are popping out of the road surface at random locations. It's a ironic that we are paying so much road tax yet the conditions of the road surface are not getting better. Would be ideal if one comes across a problem that is a safety concern, to highlight to the LTA. Believe it or not .. I did it once (complained) and they actually did something.
