I do agree that some of the blukp model are not too bad. However the model fitted for the modeo and focus is different i think. The stock hu for focus is datona beach which i cant stand. As for the alpine, it is silver in color and thus really look pretty good on the focus console. MAG, IF u really think of changing any of ur stock items u may request them to change b4 u get ur car as then u will save on the hassle of going down and the vendor will save time fitting and refitting the new items. Please try to change the stock item at most 1-2 days after u gotten ur car or the vendor might not give u a good price for the trade in. When i receive my car, the ICE items and my rims has already been change.

Correct [cool]

I seem to get more response over here than at delphi.

Was at regent mtrs yesterday (sunday) and saw lots of pple booking the Focus! Esp the hatch i think. My sales exec told me that business was good, and the price rose about $3K above what i got it for! [shocked]

Well my Focus came with the Silver Alpine head unit and the CD changer, so i am pretty satisfied with that. Already made my SE throw in an extra remote key, foglights, the arm rest and a reverse sensor as the "butt" is kinda tall. [:p]

He told me that if i wanted to upgrade to 16in wheels i have to top up $500, but after seeing the "upgraded" wheels, thot i'd better stick to the original! ekekekek [:p]

Focus seems to be the best selling car for regent motor (cant blame for it has good looks with good reviews from all mags) The only complain will probably be the 1.6 engine as it seems abit weak for a moderateluy heavy car. I was quite lucky as I gotten my 2002 hatch at 83k as compared to others who has to get theirs at at least 86-87 k. Het what the pricing for the focus now. (hehe wan to see how much my car has appreciated)

I got it for $82K. The price now is $86.8k [shocked][shocked] The hatch is about $90K i think, since its auto as well [shocked][shocked]

So glad i booked it earlier! actually only a few weeks earlier!! The price had risen really quickly. You really got it at a good price! BTW is yours the facelifted model? [:)]

Did u request to have ur reverse sensor to be of the concealed type like bumbercare? I will rather not have two round knob stcik out behind. When I have my focus, the SE supply me with extra remote key and reverse sensor. As the foglight is not in at that time I have to fit it in later with my own cash:( Guess I was the first one to fit in the armrest and thus the rest follow. I have to pay 800 bucks to upgrade my rims to 16" and i do not wish like the Taiwan ford rims they brought in

Frankly speaking, the 1.6 engine coupled with the manual transmission is not that bad, definitely better than the new impreza which i was considering as well. Could easily wheelspin in first and second, pretty perky if you ask me, even compared to my prev car [:)]

Btw the new manual focus is quite a light car, which was kinda surprising to me, cos it still feels pretty solid [:)][:)]

Are your rear speakers on the rear parcel shelf or on the doors? My Focus has the speakers on the doors, incl the rear ones. Know any good speakers that can fit behind on the rear doors? [blush]

When i was going for a test drive in the focus last time, the SE told me that they could bring in the RS( not the ST170). But it would be really expensive althought it can be done on an indent basis. Should be close to $200k or thereabouts [shocked] .

For that price, most people would rather get an EVO VII or the new EVO VIII and with the remainder of the money, "tweak" it up really nicely [:p]
