Actually, auspicious or not is all depend on your dialect group. Sounds good in one dialect may sound bad in others. Where is the end?

 

To me, any reg no that do not need me to pay extra to get it are good numbers.

My colleague from taiwan said 4 means XIE (Joy / happy occiaasion)in chinese.and his number plate comes with XXX4444X .

I vividly remember the advert for GOLD 90.5FM reiterating "Only hear the good stuff."

 

I think we should reclassify the meaning of individual numbers instead of the whole string of it and allow the discerning car plate owners to decipher the meaning for themselves. Care to help me out help me out by filling up the blanks or any other additional meanings as my dialect isn't very good. Cheers!
