Seanboi 1st Gear January 26, 2008 Share January 26, 2008 [reply]I suggest you get the mech to take out clutch to check, my worry is that the pressure plate maybe not in proper alignment & the 'fingers' may bend & break sooner or later next thing to check is the engine mount/bracket, which is very unlikely, does your engine block vibrate more than before [/reply Bro i oso having having the same prob after changing clutch. I told the mech he sae is cfm engine mounting. Wads ur take?
Seanboi 1st Gear January 26, 2008 Share January 26, 2008 Yea when I clutch in, that means even with a slight tap on the clutch pedal I can sense this tingling sensation. Is it because the plate is moving towards the flywheel even with that slight tap on the clutch pedal. But it is barely noticeable, perhaps it could even be because of the car vibration itself Or is it because the clutch is not run in yet? Thanks guys for your suggestions bro managed to solve ur prob? I m facing the same prob as u now.
Sky8807 1st Gear January 27, 2008 Share January 27, 2008 Hi guys, I just changed my clutch today. However I feel a slight vibration in the clutch pedal as I try to engage the gear. That means before the gear is even engaged I can already feel this slight vibration. Thanks. Try adjust free play more, at least 1/2"to 3/4" on the pedal side before tension is felt, then see whether the symptom still exists.
Katou Neutral Newbie January 27, 2008 Share January 27, 2008 My clutch got no free play. Once step in alittle as 1/3, bitting point is there and can throw anytime. Running on 3puck + excedy pp. But vibration is normal as when we rest our leg on the pedal, can feel abit of something rubbing inside.
