In-car VCD/DVD player

The prices of in car units are so ex that I just went out to buy one of those portable Shinco players with car cigarette adaptor and plugged it in for my son to watch on long journeys... [laugh]

 

I can then take the unit with me out of the car when parked and not have the fear of those with green eyes having wrong intentions if they see a player in the car...keke [sweatdrop]

no tv...kekeke. it cost $399 with car kit included (cigarette adaptor) and remote control.

 

I use the belkin FM modulator, meant for the iPod to connect the cound to my stereo system in the car....cool man, just watched a bit of Jurassic Park 3 using that DVD a few days ago.

just the player without LCD. Can support VCD and if i'm not wrong MP3 also can. Price does not include installation, so you got to DIY or get install at ICE shop.

Oh... thought your were talking about all in 1 din, screen plus player ...

 

I already have both actually...was thinking of upgrading to a 1 din [:p]

I have a 6" TFT TV that accepts video input. Got a headrest mount. Now deciding whether to get that converter from Autoform to make my CD player play VCDs or continue using this portaVCD player. The TV accepts power from the lighter port. The portaVCD is battery operated [:(] .

 

Options...options. Where is a good place to check setups besides Autobaccs?
