Sorry, I can't say much about others cause I never tried them before

 

However, you shouldn't compare Falken FK451 and ZE512 as they are of different class.

 

For Falken, it'll be FK451, then ST115 and follow by ZE512.

 

I've only tried Falken GRB tune II and ST115 on all my 3 previous ride

hi MCF.. i need to change my tires from 14" to 15". any reccomendation on which tires i shd get. i was thinking of es100 but worry abt the noise. some are reccomending me to go for falken st115 or bs turanza gr80. need help

Of the 3 tyres u shortlisted i tink stick to GR80. My friend tried ES100 n it got this 'winding' sound at low speed. ST115 even louder but got very stiff sidewalls, good for corners. My bro using GR80 now, soft side walls but road noise and ride comfort is .

bro u using the direzza now? personally i find sidewall a bit softer than other UHP tyres.

I love my ES100s.. great control and gave me lots of confidence in high speed conditions.

But had to replace them after 30k .. pretty fast I guess.

Hankook is New here...Not many people tried it...so they cannot comment. Hankook V8 is not even on the road yet. The only 2pcs is on my ride hahahaha.

Got to specify your size & what you prefer eg comfort over performance

 

comfort based - Michelin XM1, GR80, C drive - mainly H & V rated

V rated tyres are better than H rated interms

of rubber compound.

 

Performance - G3, ST115, Preceda, Dunlop Direzza - V rated

 

Ultra High Performance - May not have 15" - likely W rated

But FK451 is only available from 16" upwards, only ST115 have 15"

I'm using Falken ZE 512 (17"), they are very noisy when coming to stop, machiam like aeroplane passing by...haha...

 

Is that normal for all 17" or just my 512? Any recommendations for comfort tyres with the least compromise in performance? 512's performance isn't that good either

direzza 101 side wall soft ?? they are one of the hardest sidewall one for cornering.

if you want quite tyres, than you can forget about Falken liao

The top range Falken are known for their handling but not in the noise department

hmmm... not sure abt it being the hardest, cos whenever i close my doors i can see the walls flex. Not the case for Falkens.
