hmmm... best mazda ever??... sort of still miss the no-longer in production astina, aka lantis. think like the mz3 now, its design set the car apart from its class. imho. : )

Yup. And they're naming it the "Aquada Bond" or something like that, probably in reference to a certain "hamsap" spy who loves to wreck expensive toys.

 

The Aquada may be unique, but has poor hull design. It has a monohull form without the deep "V," so displacement's out of the question. It's built for planing, but fuel consumption will kill your bank account. Remember that it takes a hell lot more energy to push a boat through water than it takes to push a car along the tarmac.

 

An ideal hull design will look something like an F1 boat's catamaran form, which will result in better performance (due to less drag) and improved fuel efficiency.

Hovercrafts are unique, but consumes too much energy, and directional control is poor.

 

A good boat should adopt a multihull form and use plain ol' propellers; jet propulsions suit rescue crafts due to the absence of open spinning blades, but they still consume far more fuel and are slower than normal props.
