This "new" 2005 Corolla is made in Thailand, and is already on the roads in some parts of Thailand.

With its cost cutting measures, do not expect any Japan made Corollas or Camrys in future.

Please..... by the time this 2005 Corolla hits our shores, it's already considered an outdated model

i think the 1st 2 pics are altis with spoliers and body kits all around...

more sporty looking... but the front spoilers looked funny lah.

notice the central portion like "open big mouth" like tt.... [laugh]

the next 3 pics looked exactly like the altis we have on the road leh...

more facelift for these model ? 2005 version.... [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

toyota really milk this cash cow "gow gow"... [rolleyes]

Vios look sporty both internally and externally than Altis and with Vios' price range, some people can afford to add body kit to it. My personal view of course.

i think Vios is ok if you are single or married with no kids yet...

the bodykit is quite chio leh... plus 1.5 VVTi engine....

For those who think the Toyota Vios is for sissies, think again. Toyota Thailand has recently unveiled a new concept spun off the Vios (Soluna) sedan at the recent Bangkok Motorshow.

Developed by Toyota Racing Development or TRD, the Vios TRD Concept boasted the same 1.5-liter VVTi inline-4 in the 1.5G. However, Toyota's in-house tuning arm bolted on a turbocharger, bringing the total output to 143 bhp at 6,400 rpm. Maximum torque is up to 196 Nm at 4,400 rpm.

Cosmetically, the Vios TRD Concept throws out its 14-inchers and are replaced by meaty 205/45 ZR 16 tires. An aggressive aerokit topped off with a functional hood scoop complete the look. Inside, the Vios TRD Concept gains sporty Alcantara leather seats.
