greetings bros and sis,

Writing in to ask feedbacks for K&N Filters ... was wondering if the results are noticeable after fixing it. Me ride E46 320i. Thinking about adding power boost valve but not sure how effective it is. My ride is a bit if not too sluggish ... [shakehead]

As for pick up timings, I'm pretty sure it won't be able to hit 7 secs. So no point adding all the unnecessary mods ... [thumbsdown]

thanks once again ..

I'm a skeptic, had two K&Ns (one for Volvo S70T5 and another in my Ford Taurus 3.0) and both times I went back to OEM due to lack of improvements and potential dirt in the MAF sensor.

I thought so too. Its the 1 product that I haven't had negative feedback about. Might get mine done at BVO, but I've e-mailed them 3 times so far and no replies... so dao ... [:/]

i'm using one myself.. personally I can feel the car breathing easier.. Not really like MORE power.. but definitely more responsive.. I've just change back to paper filter when cleaning my K&N filter.. can immediately feel the difference.. so I dun think it's just psychological effect... :)

But the Drop In K&N is REALLY jus pratically open up and drop in. Good for lazy bkside like me but must clean it after 30K - 50K lor... unsure.gif

But make sure u get the correct one for yr ride. thumbsup.gif

Hi Bro, ya.. just use water to rinse it.. There's instruction on the Cleaning Kit how to do it. For me, I just leave it over-night to dry, before oil-ing it.. I got it together when I bought my filter, cost around $20.. smile.gif
