Can mix match head unit vs cd changer?

I have a Panasonic head unit DF800W. I am planning to add a CD changer. Anyone know whether I need to get the same brand ie Panasonic or can I mix match other brand?

sad to say, you can only get the same brand of CD changer as to your head unit.

 

it will be best for you to let audio shop take a look at your head unit, and see what they have got in store for you
