Did you book it during the CNY period? It was selling rather cheaply then. After that, prices shot up. I think one of CA's manager drive a bodykitted Octavia...quite nice.

jus to share, he was beside me,then sikali came real close towards my rear,(gay or what? ) then follow me very closely, until orange grove, i luv tat winding stretch becoz can test cornering mah,,,wahh can tell u the car realli grip and CA gave me CSC2(i think) then he was like beside me again!! so i slow down n take left lane, and let him go first, when we wan to exit to PIE, he suddenly chio from my right n cut into my front..I hav to jam brakes..haiz...he must hav read a lot abt the SUPERB too...his was 230M?

and this was from CA ,tanglin until PIE!

i'm mellowing lar...haha..important thing is to reach home safe n relaxed..

CA give you CSC2? That's very generous of them. That's a good tyre...high performance, high comfort and ultra-low noise. I had one set on my previous ride....very impressed..but very ex too. $360 each for a 204/40/17 profile.

its not cheap to get just tires from stamford, unless u purchase the entire rim/tire set, it's cheaper to get tires from elsewhere like leongseng or southeast.

the base rex in stock form can do 0-100km/h in 5.5sec with hp of 227(not mention about the modded one).where can u find another car in sillypore that can match the perfomance in this price range? tats y it is so commom nowsaday. not because it CMI(with this kind of performance not many car on the road can out run it), cos it make sense for those who prefer perfomanance car( the maintenance and insurance premium can kill though)

I usually get my tyres from Leong Seng or S.E Tyres. But I was 'back-side was itchy', couldn't wait to try the new CSC2, so buy from stamford. No one has it at that time. I'm now running on RE050 from S.E tyres.

the 230M cannot fight w/ the superb with ECU upgrade one la. 193 horse okay ! dunno abuot the torque, but definately more than 210Nm

 

not to mention the much cheaper roadtax!
