Andrewkb Neutral Newbie September 28, 2002 Author Share September 28, 2002 Attached is a picture of my engine ... The golden metallic rail, I guess is the injector rail right ? The white object to the right I guess is the fuel regulator ? By right, the fuel regulator should be connected to the outlet fuel line, but in my case, there is only 1 fuel hose connected to the fuel regulator.... cannot find the inlet fuel line ... Can someone help ?
Pauly75ts Neutral Newbie September 28, 2002 Share September 28, 2002 Hi! there, Andrewkb, Your car manual should have the diagram of the fuel inlet line. It should show you from the fuel tank - fuel pump - fuel regulator - injector rail - return line. Another way to determine, remove the hose that you think is the inlet, switch on the ignition key, which will activate the fuel pump to squirt fuel out of the inlet line. Do it with a cold engine, an assistant to turn the key, not start the engine. Rgds Paul Yong

Pauly75ts Neutral Newbie September 28, 2002 Share September 28, 2002 Hi! there, Andrewkb, I'll see if I can take a look at the parts manual for your car. Rgds Paul Yong
Slowpoke 3rd Gear September 28, 2002 Share September 28, 2002 if I'm not wrong, the new Honda K-series engines do not have a fuel return line, that is why you can only find one fuel hose connected to the fuel rail. I don't think that white plastic object you circled can even be called a fuel regulator.

Pauly75ts Neutral Newbie September 30, 2002 Share September 30, 2002 Hi! there, Andrewkb, I went to take a look at the parts manual for your car today. It seems like the fuel line from the fuel filter goes to a fuel canister, then to the fuel regulator, but it's not named as such. The diagram's abit difficult to understand, as scale is too small, and it's separated from the intake fuel rail, with many parts that I haven't come across. I got a big headache standing over it, looking at the diagram and can't decide on how it's suppose to end up on the fuel rail. Rgds Paul Yong
Andrewkb Neutral Newbie October 1, 2002 Author Share October 1, 2002 WOW ! Where did you find the parts manual ? Anyway, I can't seems to identify the fuel filter too. Probably gotta let you guys see the car in person ....
Andrewkb Neutral Newbie October 1, 2002 Author Share October 1, 2002 I will try to take close up picture of the area... but a bit tough, coz the hoses are mostly concealed, or hidden below other hoses. As such, I doubt the photo will show up clearly.

I think I got the line correct ... managed to find a Japanese website where they place magnet on the "fuel line" ... However, they are really amaturer ! They actually use those magnet for sticking to the wall ! Which make me also wonder if they got the fuel line right !
