Audibum Neutral Newbie August 2, 2004 Author Share August 2, 2004 mystery solved! spent 2.5 hours at Kah motors for them to tell me that the fuse blew cos we replaced her stock horn with a 2 tone one, too loud so blew fuse and that's the same fuse that the tranny uses... damn... so after much argument, they managed to replace the fuse free (after i made a lot of noise, and i mean a lot!) haha... so hopefull this fuse doens't blow too, otherwise prob need a higher amperage fuse or change back to stock horn... just very surprised that changing horn can affect the tranny.... Luckcent 4th Gear August 2, 2004 Share August 2, 2004 What is the rating of the fuse that they put in, having two circuits to take care of.
Ace_t Neutral Newbie August 2, 2004 Share August 2, 2004 It's probably not connected to the tranny itself, but by a circuit which tells the position of the gear stick. am surprised why the fuse for the horn shares it with the gear shift circuit.... Wankie Clutched August 2, 2004 Share August 2, 2004 Did the mech. put in a relay when you changed the horn? Understand from some mechs. that the stock car does not have a relay to the horn. What horn did you change it too?
