OK but 15 minutes still damn fast!nod.gif

BTW, you need to use a lubricant like a quick detailer or shampoo

solution to do claybar. Water alone is not enough!thumbsup.gif

I not used Zaino shampoo before but should be good.

I am on Meguiars either Gold Class or the NXT shampoo.

Gold class is very lubricating but NXT is better in preventing dust

from getting attracted to the surface.nod.gifthumbsup.gif

Never use Kit spot free shampoo.

Basically for shampoo, most important function is that it must

have good lubricating function and not harshon the paintwork.

Alll other functions (spot free, anti-static etc) are not critical. nod.gifthumbsup.gif

when getting shampoo avoid those 2 in one wash and wax when you use zaino or klasse, it might affect their durability [scholar] , as Jagash mentioned, avoid those harsh shampoos (eg. non brand names one -from china or watever, you never know what's in them)

Hi Steelblue,

I just had my car done up with Tuff Kote System 6. I had a bottle of Armour wash & wax. Is it really not recommended?

I'm not familiar with Tuff Kote System 6, is it a sealant type where you can layer ? If it is then imho, I wouldn't use the wash and wax type of shampoo as you want the surface as clean as possible for them to bond to the previous layer. [:)]

For system 6, can layer wax on top but cannot apply other sealant...it

will not bond. I am also on system 6 and I layer it with S100 carnuaba

wax. For shampoo, better to use those without wax added.....the reason being

that when you sue the shampoo, you want to get rid of the dirt but with

the wax there, you are actually trapping the dirt into the wax.nod.gif

Do your waxing after washing but if you have time, then do wash, pre-wax cleaner and then wax.thumbsup.gif

BTW, what colour is your ride?

Thanks Jagash! Better throw away wash & wax shampoo then. Anyway, it was left over from my last ride. Stop driving for about 2 years already. My new ride is a Matrix 1.6A Roty red.

I think their official website also did not explain anything about the application. frown.gif

Its on the packaging itself.. not on the box label. tongue.gif

It is not advisable to use the Armorall Wash & Wax shampoo...ie. the purple bottle. Would be better to use the normal Armorall Shampoo.. blue bottle. For tougher grime etc.. can use the green bottle. nod.gif
