I was told by the installer to consider the SP that I have done = to weight

of one person. I am still monitoring my FC & will give an update after a month. But I

have a feeling that my FC have increase [shakehead]

The noise reduction fortunately is noticeable [thumbsup] otherwise really heart PAIN!

Esp. road noise but than again I did quite an extensive SP which also cost me an arm & leg

kekeke. But it will definitely encourage me to drive this car for 10 YEARS! All my previous cars avg only 3-5yrs.

hmm....Is there any possibility of finding any cheap workarounds/substitute for sound-proof mats? [idea]

I've been looking around recently for rubberised or carpeted sheets.....but haven't got any luck.....

looks like there's no cheap & good solution to sound-proofing... [gossip]

hmm you also DIY yourself? Got some questions.....

There are a few types of Aeroflex. Did you buy the thinnest version with laminate (self adhesive)? Thinnest is 6mm.

I think I'll have a big problem in installation coz...this car, has a very thick oil sprayed onto the car panels since new until 3 years old. It looks like WD40, clear oil. I think I'll have to clean them off before I stick the sheets, otherwise, it'll be too oily.

Actually, I think I can easily take out the leather portion of the door, but I wonder how I can reach the inner panel...(panel nearest to the door exterior). Do you guys just squeeze the sheets thru the holes and spread it out again?

Also, another place I'ld like to insulate is the car's roof. Whenever it's raining, it's quite loud. I think...the roof....I don't know how to strip it....maybe when I go into msia next time, I'll just get those mechanic to strip the roof for me while I paste them....

Another place is the car boot....whenever I close it, my japanese car feels so ..... japanese. [:p] Wonder if I put some of these things, it might turn my car into a continental car [sly] ....it might help.
