That waranty of 10 years is something worth paying for. The film they use are of above average grade. However, their workmanship is quite relative. My friend did hers and it is fine, but mine got scratches and bubbles. Changed once, now have some peeling and dis-contine film because of my sunshade.

 

Do note, if you do sunshade with them, they join films. I visited other tint shop and they lay the lighter layer first, the the sunshade as second layer. This way you wouldn't see the line in between films. Asked them, they said Rikecool film too thick, so can't do double layer like those cheaper films.

 

Anyway, they do change without question when you found faults later. So I guess after service is still a plus.

Ive got the 75 rear 25 front tinting done up. Its really quite dark behind so looks like gangster plus my car black lagi jialat.

 

Workmanship for me is A1.. i checked out the film edges and theyre nicely cut and aligned along the edges... the car was done wif dis film before i collected it.. i think rike cool telok kurau?

Thanks, man! My car's black too but I'm not that keen to have the back tinted very dark. Hope they have other options with high IR reduction.

I'm using Rike Cool on my car. It was a feebie when I bought my car...

Personally I don't think it was worth it if U're paying for it...

If it's a freebie, try to push for either V-kool or Huper Optik instead...

My new Mitsubishi Colt Plus I asked the salesman to throw in Rike Cool .... after I received my car I realised they only install the front windows and windscreen only ....

seen a lot of complaint on their poor workmanship / service, and it was given free, so no choice.

How come? As I know the only 2 package Rikecool in Singapore carries is full car, front light back dark, or all light. I have never heard of them doing half-car. You might want to check with your SE or the Rikecool agent. I posted their contact in the pervious reply.

What I don't like is the sunshade they do. They using 2 pieces to join in the middle of the windscreen. Other films I asked, did the lighter sheet whole windscreen first, then cover up second layer for the sunshade.

 

Last time I went back for peeling around the sunshade joining edge. They just cut a little and push back. Now the gap between the 2 film become wider. Also a bubble in the rear window, they just forcefully push it back. So some marks remain. That day I went, got about 4 other cars going back to re-do. 1 particular driver is rather piss-off, since like his second time.
