Ravinged 5th Gear October 1, 2004 Share October 1, 2004 I think most accessories cum audio shops has it. Range around $80-$120 bucks. Autobacs have if i not mistaken. Yes, Autobacs is selling it, in a roll. ~S$80. How many bonnets can a roll of insulator do up? If it can do up to 2 or 3 ... $80 is a good price and MCF folks can share. Assassin Clutched October 1, 2004 Share October 1, 2004 Its just enough for 1 bonnet though. About 1cm thick.

Ravinged 5th Gear October 1, 2004 Share October 1, 2004 Ventilation like what? Computer fan? J/kidding ... what do you mean by that? Change the side fenders to high air flow type or what? Ed

Assassin Clutched October 1, 2004 Share October 1, 2004 Yah lor... computer fan.. ie. the bonnet insulation will keep the heat in the engine bay... unless there is some other form of cooling. Reminds me of the new PC mods...with those tubes of coolant /cold water running around inside the PC to cool it down.

Tien Neutral Newbie October 5, 2004 Share October 5, 2004 i think it's to shield heat off from the air intake system (or at least part of it). cool air is denser and contains more oxygen, better for combustion. ↡ Advertisement
