passed by leng kee n noticed that they r converting d rover showrm into opel! thot ae juz exit leng kee some mths ago oni, now they wan 2 b back @ leng kee.

Does that mean the MG-Rover showroom is no long at Leng Kee or are they converting it to accommodate Opel as well, since Opel and MG-Rover are under the same distributor?

based on wat i saw, right half of d showrm still rover, left half now empty, n they put up opel logo on d bldg n flying opel flags.

Hi WeeTiong,

 

Was at the MG Rover showroom yesterday accompanying my friend who was there to check out the Rover 75. You are right. Opel is also sharing the same showroom.

 

What I did find out from the SE who attended to us was that there is a possibility that MG-Rover may pull out from the local market.

 

They are currently trying to clear all remaining stocks of the Rover 75/MG-ZT180. Prices are quite attractive but colour choice are limited for some of the models though.....
