Hi. Read from this forum that you guys have used klasse before and have good results.

Wants to know if it is really a good product.

Saw the AD in wheels magazine. Price is $73.50. Expensive?

One of my colleague just has his car done up. The red car is shinny.

But don't know can last how long. The shop tells him around 4-6mths.

Even advise my friend if don't mind DIY himself, get a set of klasse

and do the maintaining works. More cost saving.

Anyone able to help? Thanks.

Care to share more info on this? (I don't read Wheels anymore).

What does the $73.50 include? A bottle of AIO (All-In-One) and a bottle of sealant plus 2 applicator and a microfiber cloth? Or is it a one time polish?

Thanks guys. In that case, will ask my colleauge bring me to that shop this friday.

Maybe will let them do up my car for the 1st round. My friend Jazz only do $60.

(After using onemotoring 20% discount Ecoupon) Seems like a fair deal to me.

Then the following maintaining will DIY myself. Hehe...

Yes. That's the price he paid after using onemotoring Ecoupon.

I find the result not bad. Includes interior and apply leather seat conditioner too.

Is it very expensive? Cause from the way you ask, you seems surprise.

It really depends on individual. There are some whom rather pay a bit more than to get their hands dirty and there are some whom prefer to DIY than to pay more.

Personally, I'm the type of DIY person, therefore, would not go for such service or package. Frankly, Since I know how much the Klasse cost and futhermore it is a "easy to use" product, there is no need to go for such polish package. (applicable to me)

As for this package thingy, let's have some cost analysis.

Space rental: $2800 (divide by 24 days and a further breakdown of 8 hours).

Hourly rental: $14.60

Cost of Klasse: S$88 (US$32.99+freight)

Based on experience: 36 polish but lets make it 20 polish

Cost of per polish: $4.4

Labour cost: $2000 per staff per month. ($83 per day)

Average time use to polish a car: 2 Hours.

Labour cost for 2 hours: $20.80

Total Cost: $54.40

My point of argument is....... it is an easy to use product that doesn't require special polishing equipment.

But then again, if one can afford the $$ but not the time, then, by all means, go ahead for the package.

Just my 2 cents...

Good rundown on the cost involved.

You are very right. Most of the pro detailers in the US sell their service because of the time involved with DIY detailing that scares off most folks.
