If you are getting custom made extractors, make sure that they come with equal length piping and there are no 90 deg angles. high mount extractors increase low end while low mount increases high end.

 

As for auto's being less powerful, thats a load of crap coz it you put two cars that are exactly the same next to each other, but one is manual and the other an auto with a high stall, the auto will win in a drag (go look at the us drag scene).

 

George>> what kind of sound? Does it come from the engine bay? Does it remain there after 3000rpm? maybe the extractor has a leak dues to improper fitment, or crack, or loose bolts. You might want to get it checked out coz it can't be good.

Can I check with you, after I change the extractor, I been hearing high pitch sound(or rather very noisy sound), when my rpm goes between 2500rpm to 3000rpm. What do you think this lead to? Thanks

 

Yah, as Saaber said, get Ricky of F.C. to fit the problem. Either the extractor's gasket or the extractor itself is leaking. [nod]
