Hi!

If I have 2 pairs of speakers (for front and rear), 1 pair of tweeters (for front), 1 active box subwoofer and a HU with 4 outputs, what should be the correct way of connecting this system? I don't have an amplifier and the speakers do not have crossover units.

Thks!

Do you know what are the 4 outputs?

you mentioned you have 2 pair of speakers... are they 2 way. 3 way speaker?

What is the brand of the tweeter you have?

The outputs are the typical ones found on a HU. Usually they are specified as 4x45W max, for example. Does the number of way a speaker is make a difference to the connection? All my speakers are from Blaupunkt. I suppose the brand also doesn't play a part in the connection right?

Thks for your offer Kelvin, that's very kind of you.

The speakers are already installed. I just want to know how they are connected. I suppose the tweeters are connected in parallel with the front speakers. In that case, the resultant impedance seen by the HU output is changed and may not be matched. Is this an important consideration?

If I want to add a subwoofer, should I connect in parallel again to one of the HU outputs? I mean can we simply keep connecting in parallel?
