My opinion: Because genitalia is the one thing all men and women will have, so you can be sure your insult will land. 

What all men and women have as well, are a set of parents. Insults are primarily directed not at the person himself but at his parents, which is more effective at inciting rage. 

Hence, i'm-your-daddy, who's-your-daddy and assorted insults about you, your daddy and your pen*ses. 

And CB isn't actually a random vagina they are insulting you with. It's almost always paired with your mother. So the ccb is meaningless without the context of the knnb.
