think of buying a 2nd hand RAV 4, this dealer has a Nov 02 blue colour 5 door with factory fitted sunroof (kindda rare i think), asking for 74K, is that a reasonable price? can any bros out there advice???

What's the scrap value of the car? With resale market so depressed now, can try to offer him based on scrap value plus maybe 5k more?

 

Dealers usually take in old cars at few grands above scrap now. It's a buyer's market. If he's not willing to sell, look elsewhere loh.

check the paper value of the car lor.

 

call up other car dealers n say u got car to sell, tell them the year and coe n see how much they counter offer to u.

Try offering paper + $5K to that dealer lah...
