Genie47 1st Gear March 1, 2005 Share March 1, 2005 Nice post Cheeze but when you have been "eaten" there is nothing else left to salvage. This isn't religion you know. Hey....maybe it is! ↡ Advertisement
Hattee Neutral Newbie March 1, 2005 Share March 1, 2005 (edited) It's cheap to talk here. I know those who write in favour are those have tried. Not sure of those not in favour like you. But have you found someone who trully tried (not bluffing) and still not in favour? Edited March 1, 2005 by Hattee
Jamesgetz 4th Gear March 1, 2005 Share March 1, 2005 u right to say that talk is cheap but buying products that don't work is pure stupidity (and also NOT cheap). before u start calling pp liars and such, it's really a case of your word (and kytl68's) against the words of many many many others who have shown that the principles of this product are unfounded and unjustified. a few critics of this product have pretty good knowlegde about cars and science. some have pointed out the flaws and unjustified claims of this product by using proper scientific explanation. the critics have nothing to gain from it and i feel that it is a thankless (but much appreciated) effort. btw, nitrogen doesn't help and is not needed for combustion... it's not hard to understand why people who have bought a snake oil, discovered it's crap but decide to keep mum about it. the reason is simple and obvious: it's all about saving face. if i bought a fake diamond, do u think i will go around telling people that my diamond is fake? some would but i suspect most won't to avoid looking stupid and conned. Apollo 1st Gear March 1, 2005 Share March 1, 2005 u must b so damned right... tell u what. according to moi, u should buy a mugen badge and ferrari badge and rebadge ur car. according to moi, the rebadging of ur car will immediately result in 400BHP gain. cars with mugen-ferrari combo badge will make others smell smoke, fr 40 tiang to Pasir Gudang. dun waste time n marnee.. it cost u less den $50 to rebadge. no other modding is neccessary. NIKE, just do it.
Kytl68 Neutral Newbie March 1, 2005 Author Share March 1, 2005 Well said, Cheeze When I started this posting, all I wanted to do was to let others know my findings. It was never my intention to start a war of words here. For you info. I have never used any harsh words against others but just provided another point of view on what others have to say. I am sure the others got a little carried away ... more like the more you type the more kick you get out of it knowing that it's becoming hot. Don't worry at the end of the day, it will all day a natural death and live will be back to normal ... I hope. Let there be peace on earth and on this forum too. Kytl68 Neutral Newbie March 1, 2005 Author Share March 1, 2005 Paying for your mistake is very hard. Best is to avoid a mistake. Why learn yourself when you can learn from others mistakes? Just like Darwinism, those who got eaten by lions are "sacrificed" to keep the lions stomachs filled so that those not eaten can carry on with life. Yes, it's never easy to pay for your mistake. Fortunately I have not paid for any mistake yet ... only mistake that I am paying for is starting this posting I don't think I will ever want to end up as dead meat for the lions so that's why I always look for things that has a money back guarantee. This gives me the option to keep something that is working (for me at least) or returning it with full money refund if it doesn't ... so I don't have to pay for any mistake. What is alarming is that there are some who realise it does not work for them and yet refuse to return it for a refund ... that is what the lions (in this case the seller) are looking for .... easy meat and also what I meant by not learning from your mistake ... shouldn't they just return it instead of keeping it somewhere or throwing it away ? Kytl68 Neutral Newbie March 1, 2005 Author Share March 1, 2005 Fellow bros, let's not get carried away here and maybe the war of words should come to an end. We shall not say who's right or who's wrong, whether it works or not ... it will just go on and on without any conclusion as it's obvious whatever said here cannot be justified or founded as we are only individuals and not any organisation that can support their claims. I apologise if I have offended anyone in any way. It a pleasure to have exchange some comments with some of you here.
Genie47 1st Gear March 1, 2005 Share March 1, 2005 I do not want to see "tries" or testimonies from a customer. I want to see and read results from blind tests. If these are really cheap performance products like you say they are, putting them in 100 cars out of 200 w/o their owners knowing about it is not much to ask from the manufacturer. Hey these people are willing to offer a money back warranty. This product must really be cheap but selling at scam prices. Again the bottom line. Where are the numbers? No numbers, all this talk about trying is moot. The onus is still with the snake oil vendors because all the expensive mods are already very well documented. Hattee Neutral Newbie March 2, 2005 Share March 2, 2005 Whether a product works or not is seem from number of supporters here - u must be joking! u right to say that talk is cheap but buying products that don't work is pure stupidity (and also NOT cheap). before u start calling pp liars and such, it's really a case of your word (and kytl68's) against the words of many many many others who have shown that the principles of this product are unfounded and unjustified. a few critics of this product have pretty good knowlegde about cars and science. some have pointed out the flaws and unjustified claims of this product by using proper scientific explanation. the critics have nothing to gain from it and i feel that it is a thankless (but much appreciated) effort. btw, nitrogen doesn't help and is not needed for combustion... it's not hard to understand why people who have bought a snake oil, discovered it's crap but decide to keep mum about it. the reason is simple and obvious: it's all about saving face. if i bought a fake diamond, do u think i will go around telling people that my diamond is fake? some would but i suspect most won't to avoid looking stupid and conned. Kytl68 Neutral Newbie March 2, 2005 Author Share March 2, 2005 Wow bro, 200 cars blind tests Come to think of it, maybe can ask the people from magic jet and challenge them to this test. It's a win win situation ... they get to proof the product and 100 people will get to use Magic jet for free for about a month. If anyone involve in the distribution of Magic jet is reading, maybe can consider (seriously) Genie47's proposal ... this will at least give others a chance to try it out. Genie47 1st Gear March 2, 2005 Share March 2, 2005 Not just any test. Double blind test. Out of the 200, 100 only installed. All who receive should not know about it. This is not just a Pepsi vs Coke taste test. There are controls to think about like petrol brand and automatic vs manual. Maybe out of 100 auto and 100 manual half of each fitted with the device. Every experiment cannot blindly walk into it and say want to test. Must have few variables. Then there is the brand of vehicle. Standardize to Altis or some car that is more common than a fork and spoon. Once you get results, it has to be water-tight. Must be reviewed by independant reviewer and not just some motoring magazine lest people accuse you of paying for an "advertized study".
