Hi hi.

1st time in, need some advise. I am driving an old '98 march now. Thinking of changing to Aveo h/b manual. Does it drink a lot? Dun wan high maintainance.

If trade in and loan for 7 years, how much do I have to pay per mth?

hi huhhuh..

Aveo drink. but not a lot....imho. [;)] average FC for manual: ard 12-15km/L.

so far, most Aveo on the road r quite new...almost maintainance free, except regular normal servcing.

as for the loan part, its better to consult SA's SE. they will give u a better idea/advice.

welcome to MCF [wave]

Hee...I 1st saw an aveo and I like it a lot!! Somehow like the shape and look of it. But I heard from my colleague that aveo is not good compare to optra but he didn't tell me on what expects. [:|]

Is this an Euro or Korea car? I actually intend to change by this year.

A pure Korean car for the time being unlike the Optra which is Korean R&D, American-badge, Thai-assembled.

In fact only the Optra is assembled in Thailand for now. The Vivant and Aveo are purely Korean from start to finish except for the badge.

Oic! [scholar]

Is it true that Korean car is not good? I have heard comments like Korean car is very petrol consuming and no power, even thou it's cheap initially. [crazy]

Look at it this way.....

Honda Jazz 1.3L iDSI engine cost 70k save petrol.

Chevrolet Aveo made in Korea with 1.4L F14D3 engine cost 54k maybe can save petrol.

Between them, 70-54 = 16k

Use the 16k difference to buy petrol smile.gif.

Most modern engines run a little rich to protect them.
