Hi, I'm wondering if we can connect two HU to the speakers, of course playing one at a time. I'm having a cd player and a friend of mine is giving me his mp3 HU. I think it does not worth much to sell the CD player away, so i intend to keep it for use. So now I can play back both mp3 and cd. Is it possible? what would I need to connect the two HU to the speakers?? [;)]

i;m sure a mp3 cd player can play normal cd as well.

like wad u say two HU to ur speakers, obviously both cannot be run at the same time. the onli way is to connecct the two HU thur a switch then to the speakers ba. it can be done and its not too hard a work.

ok, thanks for the advice.

Because my cd-player is 50wx4 mosfet but the mp3 player is 45wx4 mosfet. Thats why when I play back CD, I can make use of the higher output from the HU. This give me the idea of using two head and the CD player does not have high resell value.

Btw, does a 50wx4 and 45wx4 makes a great difference? [thumbsup]

not much of a difference ba. if u wan good sound, recommended is to put an amp inside lo. anyway speakers play an impt role oso.

anyway a switch to both HU is quite troublesome, becos u haf to switch off them b4 u can turn the switch and then switch off.
