ICE and bodykits are actually last on my list of stuff. More impt to improve on handling and performance. All internal stuff. The only exterior mod I did was to change the rims/tyres...and that was about a year after I got the car.

going shops u feel more secured, as in anything can just go back to them and thye jus change the parts for u if still under warranty. but if u were to buy from sim lim tower, and get installers outside, be prepared to change whole set at ur own cost.

 

but going to shops would result urself of being chopped.

 

compnent speakers ranges from $80 onwards. i personally find that infinty component is good, but it cost quite alot.

I had just install the following ICE and wld like to seek experts' opinion in tuning Time Correction and Bass-focus. I am using my Stock HU (Alpine CDA-W560E series)

 

1) Front speaker; Focal Polyglass 165V2 6 inches component speakers that comes with tweeters and crossover but dunno what model.

 

2) Placed under the small tables in between driver and front passenger's seat; Bazooka 6100 6 inches Active woofer

 

My preference for music includes 80s pop and Linkin' Park's kind. Occassionally also Leslie Cheung and Jackie Cheung.

 

My next move is to add an Amp; what model to go with my above mentioned Speaker and woofer?

i believe urs is a MPV or SUV where u can place the bass tubr between the car seats.

 

most car stock comes with 4 speakers onli, where u haf said to change the front 2 to focal brand. so i presume the rear one to be stock. Most important is to change the front speaker to a better one as the rear one doesn;t play much of a role in it.

 

as for ur sub, its a active sub thus dun think uhaf to add in amp for it, so jus get a simple 2 ch amp for ur speaker, thats all.

 

i'm also not a ICE expert here.
