Nice interior, Good handling and sound system best! Roadholding feels firm too with AWD. Exterior looks stylish too. Feels different and better from mainstream cefiro and camry. Should Test drive u will know. [thumbsup]

Well i test drove both the Legacy and Legacy GT.

the Legacy is a very decent family sedan with quite high class feel.

executive, u know what I mean?

u want space, it has quite generous leg room front and back. also a huge boot.

the torque is on part with other 2L and even 2.4L jap sedan.

AWD, it help to keep u on track.

Its a car that give u some fun in 'corner-faster-than-camry-and-cefiro' and the best sound system amongst those jap 2L cars.

of couse, LGT is much higher spec.

YEp. Here's a review from THE HIGHWAY for guys out there considering Legacy [nod]

The all-new Legacy continues to come standard with all-wheel drive, but this time it being targeted at the sports executive sedan buyers who currently drive the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 or Volvo S60. This means the Legacy gets sophisticated new looks, and a certain flair that was lacking in the last model.

On top of its handsome new looks, the new Legacy is also lighter, sportier and roomier than before. Subaru has utilised many aluminium parts all over the bodywork and also significantly improved the Legacy's structural rigidity.

Subaru's signature 2.0-litre flat-four engine has a new exhaust system for better power delivery and it is mated to a heavily revised four-speed automatic gearbox. In the safety department, the Legacy receives more powerful brakes and because it has adopted new materials and production methods, Subaru hopes that it will be their first model to achieve a 5-star rating for the respected Euro NCAP series of crash tests.

How It Performs

Subaru's rally-proven all-wheel drive system provides confidence in wet conditions and it enhances the Legacy's feeling of stability when one accelerates hard after a corner. The suspension feels sporty, but it also soaks up asphalt blemishes exceptionally well.

Under the bonnet, the 'boxer' engine is smooth and its power delivery is linear. With this new emphasis on sophistication, the new exhaust system and engine note are more muted, losing some of the charismatic sounds that the previous car's flat-four used to make.

The Legacy's cabin architecture is tastefully designed and there is plenty of room for four passengers to stretch out comfortably in all directions. There is high-grade plastic throughout the interior, and build quality is on par with the best that the industry has to offer. Noise insulation is also first-class, even though there is some wind around the A-pillar at speeds above 100km/h.

How It Stacks Up

The Honda Accord, Nissan Cefiro and Toyota Camry may be bigger than the new Subaru Legacy, but none of them is as fun to drive or feel as if they were engineered entirely to please the driver. The Legacy is also the first Subaru to win the Japanese Car Of The Year 2003-2004 award three months ago. In doing so it beat some impressive challengers such as the Jaguar XJ Series, the BMW 5 Series, the Volkswagen Touareg, the new Nissan Cefiro and the Volvo XC90. Perhaps it is time that the Legacy starts to bask in its own limelight rather than behind that of the Impreza

the KM 2.4i-vetc going for $93k onli. thumbsup.gif big, comfy, adequate power and cheap.

The new model, which is due in April will be going for 99K. I don't like the Accord interior very much but Camry is worse, its definitly meant for Ah Pek.
