Using Meguair's Gold Class Leather Spray. But i find it is too squeaky.

Any cleaner/conditioner that actually makes it soft?

Use the non-spray one. Will make it soft. Use the spray for gloss and shine, or to "seal" the leather.

Is it advisable to get a 2 in 1 ie cleaner cum conditioner?

Find it too troublesome to apply cleaner first and then apply conditioner.

Any product out there that can give your leather seats a smell equivalalent to 'new car' smell?

F1fan,

For 2-in-1, I use Meguiar's Leather cleaner & conditioner (non-spray type). It gives your leather seats a smell equiv. to 'new leather' smell.

This one does not shine your leather. Leather does become soft and a bit tacky (but that's how leather is supposed to be).

If u need more shine - use the spray one. I personally find that the spray one to be less effective in protecting the leather from drying up but good for shining it up....

Hope that helps.

Hey guys,

Reading this post regarding the Meguiar's Leather cleaner & conditioner. I seem to have 2 contradicting feedbacks:

1) it's very soft/moisturising, and retains the original tone of the leather

2) it's little bit squeaky and makes the leather little bit shining....

Any feedback between those 2 points?? I'm looking for a leather cleaner/conditioner that will retain the original softness..........

pledge leather can clean anot ar??

sorry but this product must be avoided like a plague. it contains a high level of silicon which will give you the squeaky clean look and shine when applied but when dried will tend to block the pores of the leather from 'breathing', besides being a PITA dust magnet. In general, especially for leathercare products, you get what you pay for. Choose wisely and it will pay you back in a longer term. I won't look for any 'One-Step' products either...

Thanks for that feedback.. Guess I'll still be going for the Meguairs leather cleaner and conditioner.....

Any idea of a good cleaner/conditioner for the dashboard of a Mazda3?? I believe the leather solution cannot be used on plastic/vinyl type of materials....

Thanx

If you can get hold of it, 303 Aerospace Protectant. Have heard pretty good reviews on this product on dashboard area and plastic/vinyl type of materials.
