Bro, 55 is a good price per door as Dynamat Xtreme is more ex than Accumat and it is one of the best in SP material. Somemore Dynamat Xtreme is more ex than Accumat. Other shops are offering between 50-55 for Accumat per door. So yours is a good price.

Cheers!!

Good job bro!! So how's the performance of Dynamat Xtreme? Does it cut down the road noise well as I planning to do it also. But with Raammat. Big difference before and after?

Well... road noise I would say is cut by about 20%-30%, not very significant change. So I would advise anyone who just wants to soundproof their doors to reduce road noise and not for ICE to not to do it. For me, its 50% for ICE & 50% for road noise. Plus the doors now closes with a solid "thup" sound, machiam continental cars. [laugh]

However remebering that soundproofing will add additional weight to your car.... one piece of Dynamat weighs about 0.88kg...

Yes Sim Lim selss CDT... not sure about the EF model.... but they are selling the CL61s. Not very cheap leh.... $320 w/o installation.... my regular ICE shop selling $300 with installation.

Any idea how much is CDT HD42 cost?

I am doing SP for both ICE and road noise. I will be doing wheel arch also. So it will help more. Anyway not expecting Lexus quiet. Just better than what i have now can already.

Try Sin Kit Audiophile in Toa Payoh, they installed CL62 in mine for $300.

You can find their address and number in the yellow pages.

Hmmm... in that case, SIM LIM is cheaper. SGD275 only for CDT CL62 (must buy 2). Installation I do in JB so that's why cheaper. Thanks!

I go to a shop near my place in Skudai. Quite far for most Singaporeans and I dun know the address. Any shops is JB will charge a reasonable price....compared to SG pricing. Cheers!

Go for the CDT & good HU, I think you wil not regret.

Cheers [;)]

Hi, in terms of priority, which component upgrade from a crappy stock system makes the most difference?

1st - component speakers

2nd - subwoofer 10inch minimum?

3rd - amp or HU next?

4th - leftover amp or HU

would this be quite correct?

i'm wondering if amp or HU is more important to me. someone offered a soundstream reference 405 will power a kicker comp VR 10in sub plus hopefully CDT-62. i have a REAL low end (but new) HU.
