Hi guys..

Need some advice on this..

Just changed my rims n tires yesterday...

Correct size of 215/45/17

The car is now pulling a lil to the side at speeds of 70 and above, such that i have to counter it by steering a tad to the right.

Din have this problem b4 i changed the rubbers, neither did i need to go for alignment after changing rims on previous cars.

Is this supposed to be normal?

And, Could this phenomenon be due to wrong balancing of one of the rims?

Wat do u guys suggest? Rebalance the rims? Or do I need to send the car straight for alignment or high speed balancing?

Im worried because i do not want to cause uneven wear on the tires and have to change them!

BTW, The car is just a few days old!

Would appreciate any input!

Thanks

its normal dude

due to the gravity pull

our road aint flat

its a little contour to allow rain water to flow to one side

its jus like free hand on a bicycle

a small difference in contour will affect your steering.

the reason y you feel the difference is becoz u changed your wheels to low profile

low profile is more sensitive to road contours

try the left lane and u gotta steer to your right abit too

hope it helps...if not go for an alignment...your toe angle might be the reason

Hmmm

this is the third set of 17 inchers i have fit in..all 45 profile

the others din pull left..which is y im perturbed..

Its like when i leave the steering on freeplay on the highway, it veers very obviously to the left..

i thk i shall go do some alignemnt today just in case...b4 uneven wear sets in.

No $$$ to change another 2 tires later once there s uneven wear

Thanks for yr input anyhow! Appreciated!

Any 1 else experienced such a similiar scenario?
