What About BP Fuel?

Everyone seems to talk about Shell, Caltex, Esso/Mobil etc but how about BP?

The BP petrol station is just next to my block and I thought of patronising them...

Any comments of the fuel consumption?

Hi,

I started with shell, go to spc and now using bp 95. BP 95 seemd to give me better fuel econ(about 35km more per tank) than shell 95, and as for SPC98, no different in fuel consumtion with bp 95 but after 2 months using spc, notice engine become more rough so change to BP and it run smooth again. you can try a few tank and compare with other brand you've tried before to find out . cheers

I use BP-98.

 

I think you have to try out different brand to find out which is better for your car. My previous car has better fuel consumption with Esso-95. My current car performs better with BP-98 compared to Shell-98.

 

Will be switching to Esso-98 next tank to make more comparison.

I'm using BP95 as well, and always stop by the quiet but friendly station along Pasir Panjang Rd. With the bonus cash from my Visa card, it's even cheaper than SPC's 98RON at 7% discount.
