Shouyi 3rd Gear January 28, 2005 Share January 28, 2005 Hi, it seems that the Nissan Latio is not a replacement for the aging Sunny as expected. Any one has any rumours on when the present Sunny will eventually be replaced? I think the Latio is like the Nissan Sunny VIP abt 5 years ago. When the new Sunny is launched eventually, the Latio's demand will slowly die off.. ↡ Advertisement

Shouyi 3rd Gear January 28, 2005 Author Share January 28, 2005 If that is the case, the sunny will likely compete head on with the all new Civic and Corolla. That means consumers will have more choices then! If Nissan were to fit the Latio's engine and transmission into the new sunny, I think technology wise, Sunny will lose to the Civic and Corolla. New Civic and Corolla is rumoured to be fitted with I-VTEC and Dual VVT-I units respectively. ↡ Advertisement
