Superchevy 1st Gear February 10, 2005 Share February 10, 2005 local can do for $130 - $150 any exhaust shop can price is quite fix an is asimple job just take out ur stock muffler and start to cut and take out those unwanted pipe and weld back a straight flow and weld back , for me to save time i just change to a straight flow exhaust muffler cheaper than the mod still i got my stock muffler at my garage . consider . Jhoo Neutral Newbie February 10, 2005 Share February 10, 2005 Any way to reverse the process ie. restrict flow by inserting more fibre to create more back pressure. My new SS muffler to too free flow liow, lost too much low end. It will be quite dump of me to mod on my after market muffler, can it be done on the stock centre box? You may say I'm crazy by paying a free flow muffler and restrict the flow again later. I could have went back to the stock box. But what the hack, I can only say that the after market muffler now ony serves as asthetic item. Usually, manual car owners wont just stop there..(cat, header, intake...etc) I can only conclude that a manual ride have much possibility of havin a much more effective setup than a Auto.
