Capsule anyone?

2nd gen capsule has reworked internals according to Nigel, but it's a trade secret so could not get more info out from him. But what he said is that the flow is more efficient.

There is apparently a "sports" version, with larger diameter inlet and oulets, but I have not seen it myself.

If you have reservoir, your have less problem with sudden rise in water demand. Now capsule is just vacuum reservoir. When opening throttle during acceleration, it gives the added benefit of greater suction to draw more air during the short transcient. Also double as a brake boost to improve braking.

Simple like this, can't think of any sophistication in Capsule. Looks like Monster is better priced and ADM can be prone to rust.

is there any diff between:Capsule,Monster and ADM....

which is the best huh???

Paying $200-$500 looks ridiculous. Any gas or oxygen tank does the same job after Teeing to the brake boost line. If you can't feel any different, must be tank too small liao.

wat's difference with 2nd gen Capsule? [confused]

According to Nigel, capsule is already up till 7th gen.

As for rest of the details, i suggest to check with Nigel himself.

Cheers.

Talking Airmax2 here? Good product but can you make one less than $100.

You mean can't find a gas cylinder at less than half the price of $200-$500 Capsule.

got my Airmax2 two years ago for exactly S$100.00 & DIY installed. [nod]

"vacuum tank" made out of army surplus metal drinking bottle........less than $15.00 each. [rolleyes]

it worked equally well like others. [rolleyes]

Has anyone heard or tried this capsule thing? Heard there's a improvement on throttle response for auto trannys. Or is this considered part of the "magic stones" collection? Any bros care to share?

I was using a vacuum tank too. IT DOES NOT INCREASE THE ENGINE POWER OUTPUT.

however,

it does make the throttle a little bit more responsive. so if u are a little bit more sensitive, u will feel the diff.

I took out mine, and honestly , i don't really feel much diff now.

U might just save the money for grooming and petrol.
