Has anyone heard or tried this capsule thing? Heard there's a improvement on throttle response for auto trannys. Or is this considered part of the "magic stones" collection? Any bros care to share?

I am using this "magic stone" in my CVT City. IT has some slight effect of making the response upon depressing the throttle faster compared to without it installed...or maybe I have been "magic stoned"...keke [laugh]

Hi,

I am driving a Corolla G9 1.5 (A), have been using Regular size capsule for the past 1 month.

During the first few days after installing the capsule, improvement on throttle response. Pickup is better and the car becomes "lighter". It feels like driving a bigger cc car. When crusing along a expressway, let say at 80km/h. If you need to suddenly cut into first lane, and do a short sprint. The capsule helps as it acts as a air reservoir. It even has some difference when the car is having full load.

But the FC [shakehead]

After the ECU after adjusted to the new setting, the FC becomes constant, but now the pickup suffer abit. Still have the rest of the benefits mentioned above.

FC before capsule

15+KM/L occasionally 16+KM/L

FC after capsule

14+KM/L occasionally 15+KM/L

I would not advise to install capsule if is always just the driver during travelling.

But Capsule is far more worth than E68 from my point of view.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Cheers

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I realised that capsule is just an empty Gunigong. Dont really know how it works man. And i didnt know that capsule will increase fuel consumption! [jawdrop]

I think it depends on the car. Originally the capsule was developed for Toyota, now I heard there is one specifically for Honda engines.

Perviously also heard that capsule did wonders for Huyndai cars in terms of FC.

So I guess it's really dependent on the car and engine.

Best is to ask those with the same car models who have tried capsule before if you want to do some research to convince yourself first.

Cheers

Dunno leh, so far any mod to deal with air on my ride, the FC suffer.

If FC is very important, for corolla 1.5 (A), just need to add z-stab and grounding. Best mileage record is 17.4km/l for normal driving conditions, even my dad also [jawdrop].

If really butt itchy, just go to Nigel at Huat Lee, request to install the new capsule with his new money back policy (from what i have read in some forums).

BTW the ecu from toyota is very stubborn one, if more air coming in, it will pump in more fuel.

Now the question is that what car you are driving?

Cheers

The connecting to brake line thing is the initial installation way when the capsule is first introduced.

Now the installation way has changed to improve the throttle response and braking as well.

Cheers
