New sizes for GR80

Hi bros,

 

I just learnt that the Bridgestone GR80 is now available in low profile sizes such as 205/50r16 and 215/45/r17. Has anyone fitted them on low profile rims yet? Quite keen on them considering the good feedback on noise and grip. Also comes with AQ Donuts II tech thats found in only the S03 and the GIII.

 

Looking forwards to comments on these tyres!

Where did you get this information from? Does GR80 also comes in 195/50/R15 size too?

got the info from Leong Seng. But need to order one day in advance as they do not hold it in stock yet.

That would be good news if its true. But if GR80 do comes in lower profile, hopefully it would be just as quiet and comfortable as the originals.

The official GR80 brochure don't have this size.

Well I dont think the new sizes are included in the brochure. Anyway if u check the bridgestone website japan where its known as the GR8000 the sizes are listed.

Thanks for the info, now I've got hope of getting GR80 195/55R15! They never had that size before.

 

Do you know who's the main distributor of Bridgestone in Singapore?

No problem! I believe there is a Bridgestone Singapore Pte Ltd, but think they're just a office.
