In my most humble opinion, 160km/h is considered VERY FAST on singapore roads. And its VERY dangerous.

Jon

most MODERN cars frm small to big, cheap to expensive can do 160kmh safely on a wide open road...

BUT if we are talking abt being "safe" in legal terms... then no nid say liao.. [sweatdrop][laugh]

anywys IMO i'd be very impressed with a car lik for e.g: Kelisa/Kancil doing 160kmh or more than be impressed wit this Opel combo doing the same.. [gossip]

I guess it's fast for a car of this category? [gossip]

i believe with all the speed limiters and electronic limiters removed, the engine in this Opel wld likely be able to do more than just 160kmh - fact is with diesel engines gaining more popularity and being tuned for use in passenger vehicles overseas - such strong performance (in terms of speed) frm diesel engines are no longer something to brag abt.

Just my Opinion [;)]

Hey... that's not true. Was driving a '92 Daihatsu Charade 1.0L (super stock) and was able to hit 160km/h along PIE at 2am.

No imagination, no tail wind, nor downslope. Ermm... though it takes hell of a time to reach that speed. [laugh][laugh]
