Lightspeed Clutched December 2, 2002 Share December 2, 2002 Congrats on your new ride As for sprucing up your car, throw in some recaros momo steering wheel lots of gauges everywhere $10k ICE setup 18" rims and last but not least ... throw in some bikini clad babes
Sparetyre Neutral Newbie December 3, 2002 Share December 3, 2002 Congrats to your new purchase!! Find the Lancer with spoiler and full body kits very sporting already.... To make it more "chio", how about some lowering springs and a bigger (17" and above) rims??? BTW, what colour is your ride??
Jermy Clutched December 3, 2002 Author Share December 3, 2002 Thanks for all your feedback! Yeah...i tink that it's already quite chio. It's in dark grey..sometimes can't help but admire its beauty...but somehow i still think that it can look better. Hmm..not thinking of doing anything 'hardcore'..or which will cost me a bomb. The bodykit itself costed me an additional $1500! Feel that i kenna cheated... Perhaps some minor cosmetics would do the trick...take one step at a time... Emkay 1st Gear December 3, 2002 Share December 3, 2002 (edited) Hi hi...i'm a newbie here. Need some expert opinion on how i can spruce up my new Lancer GDI. It already has the bodykit & rear spoiler...but i want to make my baby look drop dead gorgeous! Your help is very very much appreciated!! if you're talking about drop dead gorgeous, IMHO, body-kit, spoiler, sport grille, projection headlight (3K from creative sports ), lowered spring and tinted windows would be it .. some nice alloy & rubbers help a lot too.. you can also visit http://maxdax.com/slcc/ to see what some of the brothers there had done to their cars Emkay Edited December 3, 2002 by Emkay
Jermy Clutched December 3, 2002 Author Share December 3, 2002 Gosh...u guys are really helpful! Thanks brudders! Abt the Sports Grille...saw it at the CreativeSports website. It costs $100+ to get it done? Goodness...i know that some ppl here do their front grilles themselves by cutting up wire mesh & installing it in. Hmm...wonder if that can be done too. Don't tink an amatuer like me would wanna try that! Certainly wouldn't mind paying some1 to do it for me if it can be done for $50 or less! Any takers~... Sparetyre Neutral Newbie December 4, 2002 Share December 4, 2002 I DIYed the wire mesh front grille for my Galant. Need not cut anything on the stock grille. I am not sure how the Lancer front grille component looks like. Thus not able to comment on it. Let me take a look during one of the meetups and see whether I can value-add.. Anyway, I will show you how on Sat. You can get the wiremesh from Kelantane Road, I always pass there when I visit my regular malay foodstall cheers. Zolidlim Neutral Newbie December 8, 2002 Share December 8, 2002 IMO, bodykits, spoiler, bigger rims, front grille will be enuff. Too much of those unneccesary stuff will make yr car very complicated. Dark grey car will all the above mentioned definitely will make yr car simple, nice and sporty.....
