Pisces69 6th Gear March 23, 2005 Share March 23, 2005 haiz i think i will tahan till the 1st servicing... 4k more.. its very time consuming... Jon ===================== Try not to delay getting the extra oil out. Overfilling is just as bad as underfilling. The oil gets whipped into a foam which cud lead to oil starvation. C & C sud have a machine, similar to the one used to flush the autobox, which can suck a predetermined amt of oil. Afterwards, let the engine sit for about 10 mins b4 checking the dipstick again. Top up to the "full" mark if necessary & monitor the oil level for the next few weeks on a dialy basis. Sorry to hear about your bad ex with C & C, but i think all the big workshops employ those young, in-experienced mechs to train on your car, as the're very cheap labour. Once they have enough experience they leave for other w/s which pay a little more. ↡ Advertisement
