I think something wrong with a fuse or a chip inside, send it to a audio shop and have a look. I think my colleague got this prob once. Got it fix once he send to the audio shop.

Cheers!!

I dunno which shop. Just go to a regular shop who do Sony stuff and they should be able to help you. If not send in to the agent to service.

i had this problem with my Sony Xplod 4x50w HU last year. Initially, all radio channels start to distort & later blank out. Even CD also died. I changed the entire HU to another Sony Xplod 4x52w HU with MP3 for S$280 incl installation. Let me know if u want the address, its somewhere in the east.

thank you for the information.

went down to autotrend this noon. was told the tuner got problem, a well known problem normally happened after two years for sony xplod HU. replacing the tuner would cost $150. [sweatdrop] hmm...if $15 maybe i repair but $150 i think rather get a new sony MP3 HU intead, since the cd changer still works well.

like the new CDX F7710 for it's dark color. costs around $500 or something. guess i will live with the faulty one. anyway just can not listen to radio. [:/]
