Think its time I stand out

and help clear the air about AB tint.

The name is call AB tint as

it stands for Andy / Bill tint.

The Film is source from USA and

it is the same company which supplies

to Nanolux.

I have installed the Film on my ride

and all I can say that it is clean and

no bubbles are visible.

The installation is done in a Air-con

room which is few lots down their

office. AB just aquire the place so

it is very new with minimal renovation.

AB tint is giving all customers

a FOC polish for every tinting signed

up during this promo period.

Also, they have bought a UV/IR ray

detector from USA and it should be

arriving in May. This machine will

measure all UV/IR rejection rate and

will generate a Certificate to

all customer which sign up with them.

I will wait for AB tint to call

me up again for testing in May.

Cheers..

Perhaps I've not been updated abt the new unit and machine. At the point I saw, they were doing it at the car park and was not comfortable with product catalogue cut n paste on a piece of printed paper. Personally, I am basing on 3 criteria

1) Establish Brand (sorry, I really dun hv any info abt AB Tint's history)

2) Installer professionalism and core biz (AB's core biz is detailing n now moving into films and I was told by them that they are using the films to attract more customers for detailing)

3) Price (and I don't mean low $$$ & free polish but value for money, the quality workmanship and the effectiveness of the films you get, which is why you were there in the first place)

Anyway, to each its own. I do recommend AB for those who wants a cosmetic tint because if you opt for unknown quality films it will set you back to almost the same as the rest. I know bcos that's what I've enquired. Cheers [;)]

not really that bad... i feel that very single cents is worth installing ab cool tints...the heat rejection is good....is very worth it! go down and see it for yourself....Also they didn't do in the open space... they did all cars in an air con show room...very professionally done....this is their way of working...

Well if the Film can do its

job well enough, then it is

worth the $$.

AB cool tint may be cheap but

it does cut out heat as tested

today since it is sunny and warm.

To each have its own so it all

depends on individual..

huper optik, together with v-kool, and a few others are considered the premium brand.... and of cos you pay for what you get..... for me, my budget is max $300, so i am going something that might not be the best, but is reasonable taking into consideration my budget.

they quote me 1 car $250, 2 cars $240 and 3 cars $230.....

if we can consolidate our orders, can squeeze a bit more, like buy 5 get 1 free that kind of thing .... and get additional free polishing in future....

Hi All,

They have a Labor day promo which is still valid till yesterday? i think. I just gotten mine fix. Whole car for $168.

For higher grade film is $268. For matrix and 2.0 litres promo price is $238.

But workmanship a little shoddy, i have to go back and get the front screen film changed too.

so expect too much quality else u will be dissapointed...

Cheers!

S$88 for 4 windows is the cheapest I've come acrossed. However S$88 tinted has UV injection? If do 4 windows 1st, how much will the front and back cost if i decided to do after the 4 windows?

Godfinger ,

Well apparently AB tint is cheap. However does it last? That is a question I dun see pple asking.
