Current Ford focus - interior quality

Went to see a 2nd hand (1 yr old) Focus today, noticed the armrest connected with the panelling at the gear lever panel was very filmsy and rather loose. Some of the plastics of the console were also creaky. unsure.gif

Anyone can verify if it's the case for Focus? Any comments on the build quality?

Does anyone know if NTUC allows repairs at Regent?

Thanks for your inputs !gossip.gif

The console is not factory fitted but rather a locally installed aftermarket item.

I think there are more than 1 design for the console.

As Raycsk mentioned, the armrest is locally fitted. Tends to get in the way of the handbrake as well. As for the plastics of console, seem ok to me... but my ride is just 6 mths old [:)]

Build quality for Focus should not be too bad... perhaps the more experience Focus owners want to comment..

If i'm not wrong, NTUC will always insist the repair to be done over at their list of 'quality' workshops... and not the original agent such as Regent; citing that agent's repair cost are much higher than their workshop.
